Weather Update: Cold, Dry Weather Expected in Most Parts of Country

ISLAMABAD: In the upcoming 12 hours, most regions across the country anticipate cold and dry weather.

However, isolated areas in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan might experience rain accompanied by wind and thunderstorms, along with snowfall in the hills.

Additionally, upper Sindh, the plains of Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are likely to encounter smog and fog.

Morning temperatures in major cities were as follows: Islamabad at eight degrees Celsius, Lahore at fourteen, Karachi at nineteen, Peshawar at twelve, Quetta and Murree at four, Gilgit at seven, and Muzaffarabad at ten degrees Celsius.

For Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the weather forecast hints at cloudy conditions with chances of rain, wind, and thunderstorms in Srinagar, Jammu, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramula. Moreover, Leh might experience cloudy weather with chances of rain and snow.

Recorded morning temperatures in these areas were: Srinagar and Pulwama at five degrees Celsius, Jammu at ten, Leh at minus five, Anantnag and Shopian at three, and Baramula at four degrees Celsius.
