Weather Update: Cold, Dry Weather Expected in Most Parts of Pakistan: PMD

ISLAMABAD: In the upcoming 12 hours, most regions of the country are anticipated to experience predominantly cold and dry weather conditions.

There’s a likelihood of fog/smog in the plains of Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, and upper Sindh during the morning and nighttime hours.

The morning temperatures in major cities were as follows: Islamabad and Peshawar at seven degrees Celsius, Lahore at thirteen, Karachi at eighteen, Quetta at two, Gilgit at minus-two, Murree at five, and Muzaffarabad at six degrees Celsius.

As for the forecast in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar, Jammu, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramulla are expected to have cold and dry weather. However, Leh is anticipated to experience very cold and dry conditions. The recorded morning temperatures were Srinagar, Anantnag, and Shopian at zero degrees Celsius, Jammu at ten, Leh at minus six, and Pulwama and Baramulla at one degree Celsius.
