RIYADH: Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said it is impossible to add companions in Hajj after paying the fees.
It has also been confirmed that pilgrims can only perform Hajj if they hold a visa designated for that or have a regular residence called Iqama inside Saudi Arabia.
The Hajj applicant can cancel his reservation to perform the Hajj rituals through the e-track of domestic pilgrims inside Saudi Arabia.
It is pertinent to mention that the ministry announced earlier that it had opened registration for Hajj 1444 for pilgrims from within the Kingdom, with the packages beginning at SR3,984.
Hajj pilgrims to pay fees in instalments
Local pilgrims can pay the Hajj package costs in three instalments instead of paying the total amount in one go, as was the case in previous years.
The ministry said prospective pilgrims could make a partial payment of 20 percent of the total cost to reserve their place. Pilgrims must pay the down payment within 72 hours of the registration date.
The second instalment, which is 40 percent, must be paid by 7/7/1444 AH. They can pay the remaining 40% until 10/10/1444 AH.
The ministry said each payment would have a separate invoice, noting that the Hajj status will become “confirmed” when the pilgrim makes the payments on time. The ministry will cancel the reservation if the payments are not completed.
