COSALA Hosts Coffee Morning in Islamabad Celebrating Kazakh Culture

ISLAMABAD: The Corps of Service Attaches Ladies Association (COSALA) in a vibrant celebration of cultural heritage and community has hosted a coffee morning at the residence of Kazakh hosts, Aray and Assel here in Islamabad.

According to a press release on Friday the event offered an immersive cultural experience into Kazakhstan’s rich traditions and celebrated a leadership transition within the association.

Guests were offered an exquisite variety of traditional Kazakh dishes, offering a delightful culinary journey that underscored the unique flavors and ingredients native to Kazakhstan. A film depicting Kazakhstan’s scenic vistas and cultural practices was also shown on the occasion which was met with enthusiastic appreciation from the attendees.

Traditional Kazakh jewelry and dresses were also showcased at the cultural event.  These exhibits offered a tangible connection to Kazakhstan’s history, showcasing the intricate designs and craftsmanship that are a testament to the country’s rich artistic heritage.

Guests shown interest in the displayed items, which offered insights into the deep-seated traditions and artistic expressions of the Kazakh people.

The coffee morning also served as a platform for the formal transition in COSALA’s leadership. Mrs. Arzu from Turkey was welcomed as the new chairperson, succeeding Mrs. Eva from Germany, whose leadership tenure was marked by commitment and camaraderie.

The attendees celebrated this transition with warm applause and heartfelt acknowledgments of Mrs. Eva’s contributions. Mrs. Eva, along with other outgoing members, was also presented with thoughtful souvenirs, symbolizing the gratitude and enduring friendships within the association.
