ISLAMABAD: Statistics released by the National Institute of Health (NIH) on Wednesday showed that the single-day number of Covid-19 infections was steady despite the detection of the Omicron variant, as Pakistan diagnosed 19 more covid-19 cases with no fatality during the last 24 hours.
Covid-19 cases
According to the National Institute of Health data, the death toll in Pakistan remained the same at 30,640, and the number of total infections now rose to 1,576,312 after adding the new 19 covid cases.
During the last 24 hours, 3,797 tests were conducted throughout Pakistan, and the positivity ratio stood at 0.50 percent. The patients’ number in critical care stood at 11.
