Addressing the ceremony, Governor Faisal Karim Kundi said that Pakistan-China friendship is higher than the Himalayas, sweeter than honey, and deeper than the oceans. These are not just words; they reflect the sentiments and feelings of every Pakistani. The main reason for this bond is the mutual relationship based on seven decades, which has brought the people of the two countries closer, strengthening the bond of friendship over time.

Kundi said that CPEC will start a new era of economic development in Pakistan. He said this plan would stabilize the economy of Pakistan. He said that the CPEC project was a journey of success during the tenure of President Asif Ali Zardari. The Pakistan People’s Party has always considered Pakistan-China friendship very important and has taken practical steps for economic development between the two countries. Faisal Karim Kundi expressed his happiness that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will visit China from June 4, and the second phase of CPEC will be discussed for speedy implementation. Not only foreign but also Pakistani investors will be interested, and the factories set up here will lead to exports and increased economic activities in the province, providing employment to people. He added

Governor Faisal Karim Kundi further said that the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China has been 73 years. During this period, the governments of both countries and especially the friendship between the people, have been a source of pride. China has always valued us more than itself, and Pakistan has reciprocated its friendship with China. Today’s event is proof of this. China Window in Peshawar sends a message not only to the people of Peshawar but also to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to strengthen their friendship with their Chinese sisters and brothers. He said that China Window has provided a wonderful opportunity to bring the people of the two countries closer and share in each other’s happiness.

He inaugurated the China Window, calling it an important center of friendship, and said that the federal government would provide all possible patronage to China Window.
Earlier, the Administrator of China Window, Amjad Aziz Malik, said in his speech that the month of May marks the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China, and this time we are celebrating the 73rd anniversary of our relations. This eternal journey of seven decades of friendship continues successfully. Examples of friendship between Pakistan and China are given all over the world.

The main reason for this is the geographical situation of the region on the one hand, and the love and affection between the people of the two countries on the other, which is growing stronger with every passing moment. This journey of friendship between Pakistan and China began on May 21, 1951, and since then, where China has supported Pakistan in every difficult time, Pakistan has always taken a step forward and participated in every joy and sorrow of the Chinese people. Today, when the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has become a crucial project for Pakistan’s economic development, we believe that the economic future of our dear country is connected with this great project.
