Crackdown on Illegal Constructions in Murree

RAWALPINDI: The Murree administration, under the directives of Commissioner Rawalpindi Division, Engineer Aamir Khattak, has initiated operations against illegal constructions by forming three dedicated teams.

Following orders from Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, the Murree district administration launched a crackdown on illegal constructions. Deputy Commissioner Murree, Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi, is overseeing the operation.

Commissioner Engineer Aamir Khattak instructed the district administration to intensify operations against illegal constructions, leading to the formation of three specialized teams.

These teams are taking stringent action in accordance with the law against violators of construction rules. Raids are being conducted, and illegal constructions are being demolished under the supervision of Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue, Murree – Capt. (R) Qasim Ijaz, Assistant Commissioner Murree – Capt. (R) Abdul Wahab Khan, and the District Forest Officer (DFO) Murree.

The teams comprise officials from various departments who have been briefed on their responsibilities. The primary goal of this initiative is to efficiently carry out the operation against illegal constructions.
