TAIF: International Camel Racing Federation representative Linda Krockenberger has described the Crown Prince Camel Festival as the largest and most prestigious in the region, in terms of organization, prizes, and the number of participating camels, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
According to the SPA, she said the participation of women in the festival has increased from 12 females in last year’s edition to more than 30 this year, saying, “It is wonderful to see the improvement and growth in the women’s camel racing scene.”
Krockenberger also expressed her admiration for the registration and participation process in the 6th annual festival, highlighting the important cooperation from the organizers and the facilitation of registration procedures, the SPA added. She confirmed that the Crown Prince Camel Festival is one of her favorites in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) due to its excellent organization and the diversity of participants from various nations.
“I have not seen a festival larger than the Crown Prince Camel Festival. It is the biggest and most modern, offering many large prizes and showcasing hundreds of camels in training and racing. This makes the festival really unique.”
