QUETTA: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has arrested a would-be female suicide bomber, Mahal Baloch, of the Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) from Satellite Town Ladies Park in Quetta, Balochistan.
A suicide jacket filled with four to five kilograms of explosives was also recovered from her possession, local media reported.
Reportedly, the alleged female suicide bomber of BLF was assigned to target important government installations and security forces personnel. A case against the woman has been registered in the CTD Quetta Police Station.
Revelations about the alleged suicide female attacker
Beba Gar Baloch alias Nadeem, Mahal’s husband, belonged to the military wing of BLF, while her father-in-law, Master Muhammad Hussain, was linked to Baloch National Movement’s (BNM) central committee.
Beba Gar and his brother were among the close associates of BLF commanders, including BLF’s Founder Dr. Allah Nazar, Wahid Bakhsh Qambar, Dilip Shikhari and BNM’s Chairman Ghulam Nabi Hebtan.
In 2016, Beba Gar and his brother Noqab were killed amid a mutual dispute over money and weapons.
Mahal’s sister is also married to Dr. Allah Nazar’s nephew, Yusuf, who is the chairman of the Baloch Rights Organization. Mahal was pressurised to assist BLF’s military wing.
BLF’s propaganda exposed
Revelations about Mahal have revealed how separatist outfits like BLF are using Baloch women for their terror activities.
The Baloch nation is famous for its honour and dignity. Neither does a Baloch ever compromise on his or her sanctity for money, nor is it acceptable in the Baloch culture to separate a woman from her children and force her to become a suicide bomber.
BLF’s propaganda to make Mahal, a suicide bomber, and portray her as a missing person on social media has also been exposed. Using its handle “The Balochistan Post”, the terror outfit posted a picture on Twitter about Mahal and tried staging a false narrative around it to hide its hideous true face. However, BLF’s conspiracy was revealed before the people of Pakistan.
