KARACHI: Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi is celebrating the 38-day “World Culture Festival Karachi,” and on its 29th day a charming event titled “Flavors of the UAE” was held at the Jaun Elia Lawn on Thursday night, local media reported.
The evening showcased the rich culture of the UAE and was graced by the presence of UAE Consul General in Karachi, Dr. Bakheet Ateeq Alremeithi, along with provincial Minister for Culture and Tourism, Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, and head of Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi, Muhammad Ahmed Shah, along with officials of the UAE Consulate.
The venue featured a cultural tent, where attendees could indulge in a variety of delicious dishes, including date tea, kahwa, luqaimat, sago, balaleet, khabisa, jabab, makhi, and other culinary delights.
Speaking on the occasion, UAE Consul General Bakheet Ateeq Alremeithi has expressed gratitude towards local management for providing a platform to showcase his country culture in Karachi.

He also highlighted the warmth as well as hospitality of the Pakistani people, noting his deep connection with local culture and people.
Bakheet Ateeq Alremeithi o announced plans for a festival in the UAE to promote Pakistan’s rich culture in collaboration with the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi as well as the Sindh Culture Department.
