KARACHI: Late Pakistani TV host Dr Aamir Liaquat’s widow Dania Shah has announced to participate in the next general elections. The news comes shortly after Dania Shah confirmed her second marriage to lawyer Hakeem Shehzad in a video statement, after a wedding reception.
Since the news of their wedding, Dania Shah and her husband Hakeem Shehzad have been actively participating with various news outlets and local journalists. In an interview with a local journalist, Hakeem Shehzad disclosed the couple’s plans to join politics.
Hakeem Shehzad revealed that his wife, Dania Shah, will contest the National Assembly seat from Lodhran while he will run for the MNA seat from Shujaabad. He stated that they preparing for the upcoming elections and if succeed, they will introduce a presidential system in Pakistan.
