ISLAMABAD: The 12th Death anniversary of renowned Pakistani actress Tamanna Begum is being observed across Pakistan Tuesday.
Hailing from Lahore, Tamanna Begum’s journey in the entertainment industry began with Radio Pakistan, where her captivating voice and talent quickly garnered attention. Tamanna Begum moved from radio to theatre, but she was soon fascinated by the glamour of the big screen. She quickly rose to become one of the most popular artists of her era due to her fascinating personality and extraordinary acting talent.
Throughout her acting career, Tamanna Begum work together with some of the most prominent figures in Pakistani cinema, including Talat Iqbal and Waheed Murad. She passed away in 2012 due to kidney disease. —APP
