HARYANA, India: In a notable development, the Narendra Modi-led Indian regime has initiated police action in response to the growing popularity of the Khalistan Referendum, particularly in Western regions.

A specialized unit of the Delhi police conducted raids in Punjab and Haryana, resulting in the detention of a youth from Haryana almost two months after pro-Khalistan graffiti was discovered on a New Delhi flyover.

The detained individual is suspected of being involved in painting pro-Khalistan graffiti in Delhi and other parts of India, allegedly under the direction of Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, the chief of Sikhs for Justice, as revealed by the police on Tuesday. Ongoing raids in Punjab indicate an escalated effort to address the situation.

The police took action following the registration of an FIR on September 27 when pro-Khalistan and anti-India slogans were found on the Kashmeer Gate flyover. This move reflects the government’s response to curb the rising support for the Khalistan Referendum, particularly in light of international attention and backing.
