Islamabad—Despite the fact that the level of mercury falling down in the capital, the cases of dengue virus are on rise again as around 150 patients visit three major public sector hospitals daily.
According to the Director Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Dr. Khalid Mehmood four wards have been reserved for dengue fever patients but these are already flooded with the patients. “I am appealing to the people to cooperate in managing the situation and take all preventive measures,” he said. A total of 150 beds in PIMS, 100 in Polyclinic and 50 in CDA hospital have been reserved for the dengue patients.
