NEW YORK: Draya Michele and Jalen Green are over the moon on the arrival of their daughter. Taking her baby bliss over social media, the Mint Swim founder announced that she had welcomed her daughter with the Houston Rockets star on Mother’s Day, May 12.
Alongside a carousel of two photos, the new mother wrote a heartfelt caption reflecting on the significance of her daughter’s birth date.
“In 2021, on Mother’s Day, my father passed away. Since then, it’s been incredibly difficult to celebrate that day without recalling the devastating phone call I received that morning,” she said. “This Mother’s Day was different,” Michele continued, “My daughter was safely brought into this world.” She added, “I’m forever grateful for the new memories we all get to create moving forward. [grey heart emoji] Love + Light to everyone.”
The first photo in the carousel featured a room filled with white rose arrangements, while the second snapshot adorably showed the Basketball Wives alum’s manicured hand holding her new born baby’s tiny foot.
