Weather Update: Dry Weather Likely in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Most regions across the country are anticipated to experience predominantly dry weather conditions, with upper and central areas expecting partial cloud cover over the next 12 hours.

In the plains of Punjab, there’s a likelihood of shallow fog and smog formation during the morning hours. However, a rain thunderstorm is on the forecast for northwestern Balochistan.

Morning temperatures in key cities were as follows: Islamabad at ten degrees Celsius, Lahore at fifteen, Karachi at twenty-one, Peshawar, Murree, and Quetta at nine, and Muzafarabad at eleven degrees Celsius.

In the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir region, Srinagar, Jammu, Pulwama, Shopian, Anantnag, and Baramula are expected to have cold and partly cloudy weather, while Leh is predicted to have very cold and partly cloudy conditions. Morning temperatures recorded were: Srinagar, Baramula, and Shopian at five degrees Celsius, Jammu at thirteen, Leh at minus five, and Anantnag and Pulwama at four degrees Celsius.
