DUBAI: A Dubai-based company Yugen Group, which owns Miss Universe Bahrain, also won the franchise rights to host Miss Universe Pakistan.

A representative of the company will depart — for the very first time — to compete at the coming Miss Universe.

“WE HAVE GOT IT,” Yugen Group owner Josh Yugen announced in an Instagram post.

“I want to express my appreciation to Miss Universe Organization for continuing the great legacy of a beautiful and valuable franchise that is cocooned in love, respect, and modesty,” he added. “As part of Yugen Group, it is our utmost honor to create a path for young women to find their happiness, achieve their life dreams and shine with their purpose.”

This year’s Miss Universe winner will be crowned in El Salvador.

In January, Miss USA R’Bonney Gabriel won the 2022 crown, designer by Lebanese jewelry brand Mouawad, in New Orleans.
