DW Executive visits WE News Office, Briefed about Website Operations

ISLAMABAD:  German official media outlet Deutsche Welle’s Distribution Executive, Asia, Kritsch Manfred, visited WE News head office on Thursday and was briefed about website operations.

Kritsch Manfred, who is based in Bonn, Germany, was keen to know about the WE News and its working. He also explained how they are working. He said DW is working in eight different languages globally and focuses on environmental issues.

He also said that his organization wants to cooperate with WE News.

He said that the environment is one of the key issues the world is facing now. Weather is rampantly changing everywhere, and in a result, the world has to gear up to confront it. Many countries are ill-prepared, and many are well-prepared, but this recent shift is just a new phenomenon.

He added DW started work in Pakistan in 1996. DW News is a worldwide news and stories-based TV program broadcast by German government-owned international broadcaster Deutsche Welle. It’s very first program was aired in the summer of 2015.
