DELHI: A 3.8 magnitude earthquake was recorded in the Jhajjar area of the Haryana province of India on Sunday morning with tremors felt in Delhi and adjoining areas on the first day of the new year reported the National Center for Seismology.
There were no reports of any casualties or damage.

“The 3.8 magnitude earthquake occurred on 01-01-2023 at 01:19:42 IST, location: 12km NNW of Jhajjar, Haryana, Lat: 28.71 and Long: 76.62, Depth: 5 Km, ” National Center for Seismology said.
On 12 November, earthquake tremors were felt in the capital Delhi and its adjoining areas.
