QUETTA: Severe earthquake tremors have been felt in different parts of Balochistan including Quetta, local media reported on Tuesday.
People came out of their houses reciting Kalima Tayyaba after the earthquake in several parts of the province. Quake shocks were felt early in the morning. The intensity of the quake was recorded at 5.4 magnitude on Richter scale.
The depth of the quake was 35-km underground while the epicenter was around 150-km southwest of Quetta. Apart from the provincial capital, quake tremors were also felt in Chagai, Nushki, Qila Abdullah, Pashin, Chaman, Mastung, and Dalbadin.
The rescue and emergence services were put on high alert to deal the situation. However, no loss property or of life was reported in any area of Balochistan.
