BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan: In the past 24 hours, a series of seismic activities occurred in China, with five of them being perceptible in Kyrgyzstan, as reported by the Seismology Institute.
These earthquakes were recorded on February 3 at 14:36, 19:26, 19:44, and 22:34, and on February 4 at 00:02 and 07:18.
The latest seismic event’s epicenter was situated in China, specifically 45 km southeast of the village of Bedel and 146 km south of the city of Karakol.
The earthquake’s intensity reached 3 points in the populated areas of Kyrgyzstan, particularly in the Bedel settlement. Seismic activities raise concerns about the region’s geological stability, prompting continued monitoring and assessment by relevant authorities.
