ISLAMABAD: Health expert Dr Asma Javed has said that eating dry fruits in the winter season plays a crucial role in improving human health during the winter season as these contain important nutrients which are essential for the human body.

Renowned nutritionist and health expert Dr Asma Javed said in an interview that walnuts, almonds, pistachio, and other dry fruits contain a rich quantity of protein, fatty acids, and fiber which are required for human bodies. She said that dry fruits are considered healthy because they are rich in minerals and carbohydrates.

The nutritionist further said that oil extracted from walnuts benefits hairs and skin. She said it is also a remedy for the dark spots and wrinkles under the eyelids and is important for the human face’s glow and freshness.

Dr Asma Javed said dry fruits are a storehouse of amino acids and fiber, which is beneficial for every age group.
