DAKAR, Senegal: The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) expressed “concern” late Saturday after the postponement of presidential vote in member state Senegal, and called for dialogue.
The West African bloc said in a statement on X that it “expresses its concern over the circumstances that have led to the postponement of the elections and appeals to the competent authorities to expedite the various processes in order to set a new date for the elections.”
