ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has discarded Pakistan former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s reservation appeal registered against the NA-15 Mansehra elections result.
The two-member bench led by Sikandar Sultan Raja; Cheif Election Commissioner (CEC) heard the matter pertaining to Nawaz Sharif’s reservation appeal regarding elections result.
The Returning Officer (RO) of NA-15 Mansehra had also submitted the report to the Election Commission of Pakistan and assured that the elections result of said constituency has been prepared as per Form-45, during the hearing.
The ECP also rejected the petition pertaining to retracting of notification of victorious candidate in the constituency and issued order to release the notification of successful candidates.
Independent candidate Shahzada Muhammad Gushtasip Khan defeated Nawaz Sharif to clinch win in the aforementioned constituency.
