ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) released a pre-general election advisory on Tuesday, directing government officers and employees to refrain from involvement in political activities.
The advisory explicitly prohibits government officials and employees from participating in election-related endeavors.
As the circular outlines, government officials and employees are explicitly barred from engaging in election-related activities. Those seeking leave are mandated to secure approval from the Returning Officers (ROs), with district officers required to obtain permission from the District Returning Officers (DRO) for their leaves.
