JEDDAH: The Saudi Export Development Authority (EDA) on Tuesday organized the Saudi-Iraqi trade mission works in Jeddah under the theme “Made in Saudi Arabia” as part of Riyadh’s strategy to develop non-oil exports and provide export opportunities.
The move also aims to increase the availability of local products in regional and international markets, thereby strengthening the status of locally-made products as one of the most important streams of the national economy and verifying its income.
The “Saudi Exports” trade mission will target many sectors, most notably the “Food Sector”, “Construction Sector” and “Medical Sector,” with the participation of over 40 Iraqi importing companies and 40 Saudi companies. This participation will aid in spreading Saudi products and strengthening their regional presence, as evident by increased business activity between Iraq and Saudi Arabia.
This is in accordance with the Saudi leadership’s directives to support and develop relations between the two countries, as well as to strengthen their brotherly and historical relationship to increase the volume of their bilateral trade.
