ISLAMABAD: People heading to their hometowns to celebrate Eid with their loved ones are facing inconveniences at bus stands in the twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi after a throng of passengers flooded terminals.
Crowds of passengers were witnessed at different general bus stands in twin cities.
Many passengers lamented the violations of the government’s SOPs while some complained of exorbitant fares.
A commuter lamented: “My name is Osama Hashmi and I belong to Muzafarrabad. I have come from Mirpur. I am studying over there. This time, there is a great deal of rush (at bus stands). I have been waiting since morning but could not get a bus.”
