LAHORE: As many as eight people were killed and two others injured in a collision between a trailer and car near Guddu Interchange on Multan-Sukkur Motorway (M5) in Rahim Yar Khan, Punjab province of Pakistan on Friday night, local media reported.
Eight Killed in Road Accident in Pakistan
As per the media reports, the accident happened when the car collided with a trailer near Guddu Interchange. The car with the same family members on board was heading towards Mureed Shakh from Sukkur. According to the local TV, eight people were killed on the spot.
Police and rescue teams rushed to the site and shifted the dead and wounded to a nearby hospital in Rahim Yar Khan.
