MUMBAI: Acclaimed Indian producer and director Ekta Kapoor is planning to remake the hit Pakistani drama series ‘Tere Bin’ for the Indian audience.
Ekta Kapoor has collaborated with Colors TV, an Indian channel, to adapt the story of Tere Bin for the audience in India.
According to the reports she is considering Kanika Mann and Ayesha Singh for the lead charterers. The remake is likely to retain the title “Tere Bin.” The drama is expected to go on air on television from July 2024.
In recent years, Pakistani dramas have been gaining huge recognition in India, drawing attention from Indian actors and producers who appreciate their high quality of work.
‘Tere Bin’, starring Wahaj Ali and Yumna Zaidi, was a massive hit not only in Pakistan but also in other countries like India and Bangladesh.
Zaidi’s popularity increased because of the widespread acclaim of the drama.
