Meanwhile the RO rejected the nomination papers of PTI leader Azam Swati for NA-15.

Swati’s lawyer Sohail Swati told media that said Azam Khan’s papers were rejected claiming his signatures to be fake and raising objection on him being an absconder adding that they will move to the election tribunal against the decision.

Nomination papers of Zulfi Bukhari were also rejected on account of fake signatures, however his lawyer termed the move as ridiculous adding that the signatures were counter signed by the oath commission.

It is worth mentioning here that 30th December (Saturday) is the last day of scrutiny of nomination papers submitted by candidates wishful to contest the general elections to be held in February 2024.
