KARACHI: Pakistan’s President Dr Arif Alvi has urges Pakistan to vote, called it ‘constitutional and civic responsibility. He made the statement on Thursday via social media after exercising his democratic right during the general elections in the country.
He tweeted, “The Islamic Republic of Pakistan has asked for your personal advice via your vote to elect representatives to the National and Provincial Assemblies.” He posted, “It is therefore your Islamic, constitutional and civic responsibility.”
The President wrote, “We as a family reached our polling station, stood in line and have voted and urge all of you to come out and exercise your right. Pakistan needs your opinion as never before.”
