ISLAMABAD: Re-polling is under way in various polling stations of NA-88 (Khushab II), PK-90 (Kohat I) and PS-18 (Ghotki I), local media reported on Thursday.
These polling stations are Kohat (PK-90) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Khushab (NA-88) in Punjab, and Ghotki (PS-18) of Sindh. The polling started at 8am and will continue till 5pm without any break, the ECP said. In Khushab, re-polling is being conducted in 26 polling stations, 8 polling stations in Kohat and two in Ghotki.
Local media cited District Returning Officer Agha Sher Zaman as saying that repolling had begun at “two polling stations of Ghotki’s PS-18”.
It may be recalled that polling was stopped in these polling stations due to various reasons during general elections on February 8.
Meanwhile, polling will also be held in six polling stations in constituency NA-43 Tank-Dera Ismail Khan on Sunday.
