WASHINGTON: A first launch attempt will soon be made by the most powerful rocket ever created by SpaceX company owned by Elon Musk.

SpaceX company has constructed the starship-branded vehicle. It is intended to have nearly twice the thrust of any rocket in history and is almost 120m (400ft) high. The unmanned protest on Monday will take off from Boca Chica in Texas. The vehicle’s upper stage will be directed eastward to make almost a full rotation of the earth.

Musk has urged everyone to keep their expectations in control. On its first launch, a rocket frequently encounters some sort of failure.

He told a Twitter Spaces event, “It’s the first launch of a complicated but gigantic rocket; therefore, it might not launch as expected. We will be cautious, and if we anticipate anything that makes us concerned, we will postpone the launch. If we launch, I’ll count anything that doesn’t damage the launch pad as a victory.”

Starship will attempt to take off at 08:00 local time (13:00 GMT; 14:00 BST). To see the spectacle, thousands of spectators are anticipated to try to travel to coastal sites in the Gulf of Mexico. With Starship, Elon Musk aims to completely disrupt the rocket industry. It is made to be quickly and completely reusable. He envisions many daily flights of humans and satellites into orbit, similar to how a jet airliner might fly across the Atlantic. He thinks that the ship would usher in a time when common people could travel to other planets.

The lower stage of the Starship is going up for the first time; the upper part has been tested on short hops. In February, the enormous booster known as Super Heavy was launched while still attached to its launch mount.

However, the engines were only running at half of their potential at that time. The stage should produce nearly 70 meganewtons if SpaceX goes for 90% thrust on Monday as planned. The force required to launch almost 100 Concorde supersonic aircraft is equal to this.
