PESHAWAR: Chairman All Boards Employees Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Tariq Safi has announced to protest on April 11 against Chairman BISE Mardan Fareed Khattak and other employees on deputation in the Boards.

While talking to the media, Tariq Safi said that the protest would be accompanied by a complete lock-out strike in all Boards across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa against all appointments conducted on deputation in the relevant boards.

Meanwhile, officials including Aurangzeb Kashmiri Central Secretary General EPCA, Noor Badshah Advocate President Bar Association Mardan, Iftikhar Yousafzai, President BISE Mardan, Yasir Arafat General Secretary Malakand Board,

Inayat-ur-Rehman General Secretary BISE Mardan, Inaamullah Yousafzai, President APCA Mardan, Sajjad Khan General Secretary Paramedical Association, Saifur Rehman President Class 4 Mardan Board, Aziz Khan General Secretary Class 4 Paramedical Association, and others were also present during the meeting planned for arranging the protest.

During their talk, they demanded that the Chairman Board should immediately relieve the officials appointed on deputation, adding that these posts are the legal and constitutional right of the regular employees of the Board and not for those coming on deputations from other departments or sectors.

They also alleged that the Chairman Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Mardan, was appointed by the previous government on some conditions including the appointment of two officials on deputations on important posts in the Board. However, as a precedent and by the book, such posts are the rights of the regular board employees, but the Chairman, Board Marad, is violating every moral and legal precedent.

The meeting participants expressed that the Board employees would be on strike on the announced day, along with staging a pen-down and locked-out protest. They said that if their demands went unheard, there would be a complete boycott of the upcoming matriculation board exams.
