SIALKOT: A crucial meeting convened at the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) auditorium to deliberate on the upcoming industrial exhibition slated for 2nd and 3rd March, 2024, at Living Dreams Marquee, Sialkot Cantt. Organized by the Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sialkot (WCCIS), the event aims to showcase the entrepreneurial prowess of women across various sectors.
Dr. Mariam Nouman, President of WCCIS, expressed gratitude to SCCI President Abdul Ghafoor Malik and the Sialkot business community for their unwavering support towards the exhibition. She emphasized the provision of subsidized stalls to foster collaboration and empower emerging women entrepreneurs.
Highlighting the diverse range of products, Dr. Nouman revealed that the exhibition would feature stalls showcasing premium items such as cutlery, handicrafts, shoes, leather goods, jewelry, furniture, embroideries, gym wear, and sports attire, among others. Notably, stalls have been reserved by budding entrepreneurs from key cities nationwide, including Faisalabad, Karachi, Lahore, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Gujarat, and Multan.
Nadia Qaiser, Chairperson of the Event Management Committee, elaborated on the essence of “We-Exhibit 2024,” emphasizing its role in promoting women’s empowerment and fostering entrepreneurship. She underscored the initiative’s affordability, providing an avenue for businesswomen to thrive through cost-effective stall options.
The meeting witnessed active participation from esteemed members, including Senior Vice President Gulzeb Waqas Awan, Vice President Madiha Faisal, and other prominent businesswomen, reaffirming the collective commitment to advancing women’s economic participation and empowerment.
As preparations gain momentum, We-Exhibit 2024 stands poised to celebrate the ingenuity and resilience of women entrepreneurs, underscoring the pivotal role of inclusivity and collaboration in driving economic growth and prosperity.
