LONDON: England on Thursday managed to beat Pakistan by seven wickets in the fourth and final T20I match of the four-match series at the Oval Stadium in London.

Chasing a score of 158, England started strong with Salt (45) and Buttler (39). England finished their chase with 27 balls to spare.

The victory at The Oval was England’s second of the four-match series, having also won the second game at Edgbaston by 23 runs. The first and the third matches could not be played due to rain.

Pakistan’s middle order suffered a collapse in the first innings, which ultimately proved costly for the visiting team.
