LONDON: England’s Stuart Broad has said that he will retire from all formats of cricket after the final match of the Ashes Test against Australia at The Oval. He termed his cricket career as “a perfect ride”.

He told the media after stumps on 3rd day of the 5th test match: ” Sunday or Monday will be my last day of cricket.

Broad, the son of former England batsman Chris Broad, said: “I love the game of cricket. I have always wished to finish at the top and the Ashes series feels like one of the most entertaining I have been a part of it.” He made his debut in 2007 against Sri Lankan side in Colombo.
