LAHORE: England Test cricket captain Ben Stokes revealed that masked burglars broke into his family’s home in Castle Eden, northeast England, while he was away on tour in Pakistan.

His wife Claire and their children, Layton and Libby, were inside during the robbery, which occurred on the evening of October 17, during England’s second Test match in Pakistan. Although no one was physically harmed, the incident has left a lasting emotional impact on Stokes’ family.

Stokes reported that valuable items, including sentimental possessions, were stolen, many of which hold irreplaceable personal significance. In a social media post, he shared images of the stolen items, urging anyone with information to contact the police.

His primary goal, he stated, is to help the authorities identify and capture those responsible for the crime. Stokes expressed gratitude for the police’s support both while he was abroad and now, as they continue efforts to apprehend the culprits.

This appeal has garnered significant support, with fans and public figures sharing the post to help recover the stolen items and bring the perpetrators to justice.
