Envoys Laud Hockey Initiative to Empower Youth in Islamabad, Pakistan

ISLAMABAD:  In a very positive development, the lovers of sports and hockey in the diplomatic community vowed to extend their support for sports activities in Pakistan. The diplomatic community’s active role in the Islamabad Hockey League 2024 shows a shared commitment to promoting positive values via sports and creating opportunities for youth development.

High Commissioner of Malaysia Azhar Mazlan, High Commissioner of Australia Neil Hawkins, High Commissioner of Brunei Kamal Ahmed, Charge D’Affaires of Romania Eduard Preda, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan Ulanbek Toutiaev actively took part in the league matches.

It may be noted that the Rising Stars Hockey Club successfully organized the Islamabad Hockey League 2024, drawing the huge participation and acclaim from esteemed diplomats.

On the occasion, the diplomats expressed sincere appreciation for the commendable efforts of the Rising Stars Hockey Club in hosting an inclusive hockey league. Notably, they appreciated the initiative for providing an equal platform for all, allowing girls to demonstrate their skills and prowess in the game.
