PARIS: European nations, including France, Austria, Poland, Switzerland, and Germany have experienced record-breaking temperatures in the current month of September, adding to the mounting list of extreme weather events fueled by climate change, Western media reported on Friday.

This shocking trend comes in a year that climate experts forecast will be the warmest in history as the impacts of climate change continue to increase.

European Nations Record Hottest-ever September

France, Austria, Poland, Switzerland, and Germany have all reported their hottest month on record. These unusually warm conditions in European content follow a report from the European Union climate monitor earlier in September, which said that international temperatures during the Northern Hemisphere summer were the highest ever reported.

NationsIn France, the average September temperature is likely to be about 21.5 degrees Celsius. Germany also experienced its hottest month on record, with temperatures nearly 4 degrees Celsius higher than the 1961-1990 baseline.
