ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir on Tuesday firmly said that no force, not even terrorists across ten generations, can cause harm to Balochistan or Pakistan. He affectionately refers to Balochistan as “the crown jewel of our nation”

Describing Balochistan as “the crown jewel of our nation,” the COAS reaffirmed the military’s unwavering commitment to the country’s integrity and progress.

Addressing the Overseas Pakistanis Convention in Islamabad, the Army Chief conveyed a powerful message: “Anyone who obstructs Pakistan’s journey towards progress will face collective removal.”

He lauded the indomitable spirit of the Pakistani people, asserting that with national unity, the armed forces can surmount any challenge.

“Blessed with bountiful natural resources, we must always express our gratitude,” he emphasized.

Challenging the notion of ‘brain drain,’ Gen Munir reframed it as ‘brain gain,’ celebrating the global achievements of overseas Pakistanis.

“You embody the limitless potential of Pakistan,” he noted.

The Army Chief underscored the importance of passing down Pakistan’s narrative to future generations—a legacy for which our forebears made immense sacrifices.

“A mere handful of terrorists cannot dictate the destiny of Pakistan,” he declared.

He also expressed deep admiration for the fervour of overseas Pakistanis, stating, “You are more than just Pakistan’s representatives—you are the radiant beacon illuminating the world.”
