Ingredients for Roasted Nuts
Ghee 2 tbsp, almonds 1/2 cup, cashew nuts 1/2 cup, pistachios 1/2 cup
Ingredients for Roasted Vermicelli
Vermicelli (Roasted), full cream milk 1 ½ litre, sugar 1 ½ cup, dry dates (deseeded) 10-12, nuts (Roasted), khoya 1 cup, dairy cream 1 cup & for garnishing, almonds, pistachios, and dry dates for garnishing
Directions;
- Heat ghee in a pan and add almonds, cashew nuts, and pistachios. Roast them for 1-2 minutes, then set them aside.
- In the same pan, add more ghee and the vermicelli. Roast for 2-3 minutes or until it changes color. Set aside.
- In a pot, heat milk and add sugar, stirring until the sugar melts. Then add the roasted vermicelli and dry dates, and cook until it starts to thicken.
- Next, add khoya and the previously roasted nuts. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
- Turn off the flame and stir in dairy cream until well combined.
- Garnish with almonds, pistachios, dry dates, and a dollop of dairy cream before serving.
