“Exploitation Day” to be Observed on August, 5 in Japan to Highlight India’s Brutality in IIOJK

TOKYO: Japan-based Kashmiri Diaspora community announced that they will observe ” Exploitation Day” on August, 5 to apprise the international community of their protest against the forced and illegal Indian action of abrogation of special status of the internationally-acknowledged disputed Jammu and Kashmir state, which India had exercised five years ago in 2019.

Tokayo-based Kashmiri Diaspora community Leader and Jammu Kashmir Solidarity Forum Chairman, Shahid Majeed Sheikh Advocate said that Kashmiri Diaspora community in Japan would also present a memorandum comprising their demands to the United Nations office besides holding protest demonstrations in front of the Indian diplomatic missions with the cooperation of political, religious, and social figures of Japan.

He appealed that August 5 as Kashmir Black Day must be observed by each Kashmiri across the world against the abrogation of the special status of Occupied Jammu Kashmir state  and the oppression of the Indian occupying forces unleashed against the people of Indian illegally Occupied Jammu Kashmir state for the last 77 years.

He called upon the Kashmiri and Pakistani community living across the world to observe August 5 as the ‘Exploitation Day” wherever they lived in across the globe by holding protests to apprise the world that India was aggressor in Occupied Kashmir.

He added that the curfew-like restrictions had been imposed upon the people of the IIOJK and fundamental human rights had been suspended.  He maintained that Indian government had also put more Hurriyat leaders in unlawful detentions, which was the obvious insult of the humanity.

Shahid Majeed asked the human rights organizations and media across the world to support the Kashmiris against the Indian brutalities in Occupied Kashmir.  He also highlighted that India was making innocent Kashmiris particularly youth the target of its state terrorism in Occupied Kashmir and all types of restrictions had been imposed the IIOJK.

He announced that people of Kashmir settled in Japan would continue raising protests and voice on every relevant forum against the Indian government-sponsored state terrorism in IIOJK till India restore the statehood of the Occupied Kashmir and move for early settlement of the Kashmir dispute.
