KARACHI: Unidentified assailants on motorcycles opened indiscriminate fire on a milk and confectionery shop located on Abul Hassan Isphani Road in Karachi. The attack resulted in the death of shopkeeper Abdul Bari on the spot, while another individual, Muhammad Ayub, and three additional victims sustained gunshot injuries and are currently receiving treatment at a nearby hospital, as reported by a private news channel.
Eyewitnesses from the milk shop, who were injured during the assault, stated that the assailants wore masks and quickly fled the scene immediately after the shooting.
The police, responding to the incident, recovered a 9mm pistol with 12 bullets from the crime scene. An ongoing investigation aims to apprehend the perpetrators and uncover the motive behind this act of violence. The community is left in shock and mourning as authorities work to bring those responsible to justice.
