Staff Report

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has overhauled the whole marking system at both the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) levels.

A grading system has reportedly taken the place of the entire marking system, and results will subsequently be reported in grades, GPA, and CGPA, as per the official statement.

The new grading system will be used for SSC part II and HSSC part II in 2024. Results will first be released in total marks, grades, and GPA. From 2025, results will be published in grades, GPA, and CGPA.
