ISLAMABAD: In the FIFA World Cup 2022’s first Round 2 match between the Netherlands and United States, the Dutch side outclassed the North Americans 3-1 to become the first team the Netherland to enter the quarterfinals. The match was played at Qatar’s Khalifa International Stadium.

Early in the game through Memphis Depay of the European took the lead in the 10th minute. In the 45+1st minute, Daley Blind netted the ball.
In the 76th minute, Haji Wright scored for the US to make it 2-1. Just after five minutes, Denzel Dumbfries netted another goal for the Netherlands to put the game out of reach for the US.
At the blowing of the final whistle the score was 3-1.
