ISLAMABAD: In the FIFA World Cup 2022 Group H match between South Korea and Portugal saw the Asian finally defeating the Europeans 2-1 in a much close fight for winning and moving to next round.
In the other Group H match Uruguay beat Ghana, however, due to a better goal average South Korea moved into the second round at the expense of Uruguay. Portugal had already qualified.

In the 5th minute of the first half, Portugal’s Ricardo Horta netted the ball. In response the Koreans played impressive football to find the equalizer.
The South Korean’s determination helped them level the score 1-1 in the 27th minute when Kim Young-gwon. The first half ended with the same scoreline.
Till the dying moments of the match it seemed that the result would be a draw, however, in the 90+1st minute South Korea’s Hwang Hee-chan to bag the winner.
