QUETTA: At least five people were wounded in a blast near the Police Lines in Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan, here on Sunday, police said.
Soon after the explosion, police, and rescue teams reached the blast site. Police force cordoned off the area and started collecting evidence.

Rescue officials shifted the injured to Civil Hospital in Quetta, where their condition is stated to be stable.
“The nature of the explosion is yet to be ascertained,” police said.
