ISLAMABAD: At least five people were killed and three others wounded after a passenger coaster skidded off the road near Rahim Kot in Bagh in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) in the wee hours of Friday.
Rescue 122 and local police said that the coaster with 12 people onboard was going to Mushtamba and left Rawalpindi at midnight (Friday) and it met the incident at Rahim Kot.
Five dead included driver, conductor
The coaster bearing number 6641 skidded off the road and fell into a deep ditch, police and Rescue 1122.
The five passengers, including the driver and conductor, died on the spot, while three others were wounded.
The wounded were shifted to the Dheerkot hospital for treatment.
