RAMALLAH: Local medics reported that five Palestinians sustained injuries during Israeli military raid in the West Bank city of Jenin on Monday.
Early in the morning, Israeli forces conducted a raid on the Jenin refugee camp, resulting in confrontations with Palestinian refugees, as reported by local residents. During the operation, an Israeli drone launched a missile at a target within the camp, although specific details were not disclosed.
Medics on the scene confirmed that five Palestinians were wounded by live fire from Israeli forces during the raid.
In response to the development, the Palestinian group Hamas stated that their members engaged in clashes with Israeli forces inside the Jenin refugee camp.
According to Palestinian sources, Israeli forces detained three individuals before eventually withdrawing from the area. The Israeli army also confirmed but did not provide further information.
